Protective hair sprays before straightening hair?

i have noticed what my hair straighener has done to my hair..its left me with spilt ends i own an iso pink tourmaline ceramic straightener and now im regreting not buying a protective hair spray..so for those who does use protective hair sprays..which ones would you recommend? i dont want any cheap brands if they arent going to do the job or will make my hair look like i poured grease on it:] and if you do have a product to recommend can you please tell me where you got it from so i can go check it out:]

i use john freida "straight answer" and it works well. i also use a finishing creme (sauve), just a touch at the end and it keeps it shiny, soft and not greasy

Vo5 Heat protector, sunsilk 20carat shine, and man n tale heat protector. althought i RARELY use heat on my hair. i suggest you get them splits trimmed and give your hair some deep moisture treatments before resuming your heat routine.
