You could use a volumizer after or before straightening.

It keeps your hair straight looking, but not compeltely flat and lifeless.

I usually use Cocky from the Bed Head collection by TIGI. I would really reccomend it, but thats just me. The kind that will work best for you if one that will match your hair type and stuff. I would also reccomend usuing Big Sexy Hair products, they also inflate your hair and make it more volumptious without curling it. They have a whole line of products (including shampoos, condoitioners, gels, hairpsrays, etc) that are jsut used to give you bigger hair!
