Well it is called a Japanese Perm. And, no, it is NOT a perm. Actually it is the exact opposite! It is hair straightening. My friend got it done and now she doesnt have to straighten her hair for a while!

Yes there is. It's a chemical process which costs anywhere from $300-$1000 depending on your hair length and thickness. They first straighten your hair, then put chemicals on it, let it sit for 15 minutes, and wash it out. (They do that like 3-4 times depending on your hair type) You can't wash your hair for atleast 9 days and can't tie it for 3. It turns out really pretty if you like straight hair. It lasts from 4-7 months. (Depends when y our roots grow out) It also doesn't work on some people so ask your hairdresser or someone at the salon about it and they can tell you everything you need to know. Good Luck : )

if you go to a korean hair salon in flushing, ny they usually do it for $150-250 depending on the length. And they do not put chemicals in your hair 3-4 times!! they only put chemicals in your hair twice and you can wash it 3 days later %26amp; it usually stays straight for 6 months to a year
