Straightening hair...?
I use nexxus heat protection but that is kinda expensive, but a friend of mine uses tresemme which she swears by.
Straightening hair...?
1. you might need to use other straighteneing products in conjunction with your straightener
2. whenever youw ant your hair to be straight
3. until its completely straight
4. heat protector, you can get ti at any old drugstore
Straightening hair...?
Okk before you straighten it put any kind of hair polish on your hair it adds shine and helps your hair stay straight throughout the whole day.
Straighten it up to 3 timez a week.
go over each section until its completely straight [[usuallu 3 times]]
Straightening hair...?
1. Buy some straightening cream. Sunsilk has some. It smells good, is in-expensive, and works well.
2. You shouldn't straighten your hair at all, since it's damaging, but straighten it as much as you want/need to.
3. I blow dry my hair straight [I have naturally wavy-ish hair] but when it's dry, I still need to straighten it a bit. I go over each piece 1-2 times.
4. I've never used heat protection product. Sorry! But good luck!
Straightening hair...?
You should really do it as little as possible cause it's so bad for your hair. But i do mine practically every day so meh :P
Just try to go over each bit of hair quickly and stop as soon as you are satisfied its straight
As far as products go i don't know a really good one that makes a lot of difference to hair condition.
Best thing i do is use an intensive conditioner at least once a week to help keep the moisture in it.
Straightening hair...?
You should invest in an ISO ULTRA. www.isobeauty.com
They're a bit pricey, but by far the BEST straightener I've ever used.
Straightening hair...?
Don't do this everyday. It will leave you with split ends and very dry hair. Use a heat protection oil for your hair...it will protect your hair from the heat. Go to Sally Beauty Supply, I think is called Sally or Sally's, and they sell a lot of different products.
Straightening hair...?
get out of the shower, comb your hair, put in anything, like a palmade, or a mousse, blow dry it straight, then starting in sections underneath straighten small sections going over each piece about 3 times, and work your way to the top layers. That's what i do and it works like a charm, it'll stay straight for about 2-3 days, and I'll do it as many times a week as I want, as long as you put mousse or something in, it'll help protect your hair and it'll help it stay straight and flat.
Straightening hair...?
i use treseme heat protection its a spray bottle about five pounds but check out deals 3 for 2 so on
i use it before blowdrying and straightening
if you have thick hair make sure you section it all by this i mean divide your hair up start from underneath your neck at the back and do bit by bit.
when sraightenng your hair or drying it make sure you do ir flat with no body that will help
get a friend to help you or ask a relative
if your straightners are 200 i would say 3 times max
i straighten mine every other day as your hair will be damaged if you do it every day
Straightening hair...?
You need to press the straighteners together really quite hard as you're sliding them down the bit of hair. This will straighten even dry, wavy hair on the first 'run'.
Use conditioner every time you wash your hair if you havent got special hair products.
Straightening hair...?
1. Make sure your hair is 100% dry before straightening, don't try doing too big sections at once, invest in some anti-frizz serum and hairspray to finish it off.
2. The less often you straighten it the better for your hair. I wouldn't advise doing it every day... maybe every other day.
3. Once or twice max. If you section your hair correctly, and do little bits at a time then you won't have to do go over each section.
4. There are sprays specifically designed to protect hair while straightening, your hairdresser should know a good one. Also make sure you use the correct shampoo type for heat treated hair and condition each wash. A weekly conditioning mask wouldn't go a miss either.
You need to take really good care of your hair when straightening it regularly... 200C is very hot and before you know it your hair could become brittle.
I do my own hair for special occasions only... a bit of kink looks better anyway imo.
Straightening hair...?
1. My hair never stays straight for long bout 2-3 tops
It really depends on your hair type. Some people are lucky enough to have uper-straigh hair all the time, some aren't. I think this time is quite average, as it's rare to have perfectly straight hair for the entire day. It's bound to get ruined sometime.
2. how many times a week should i straighten my hair.
I'm not really one to tell you, as I straighten my hair 5 times a week for school every morning. Ideally, you shouldn't straighten your hair at all, but I'd say about 3 times a week is enough to reduce risks of damage.
3. How many times do you go over each section of hair with ur straightners?
Well, unitl it's straight! There isn't a certain amount of time you should go over it, because everyone has different hair so it's different for every one of us. As long as the end result turns out straight, that's all that matters.
4. What Heat protection product should i use?
I'm in the UK, so I use Loreal Hot Straight. It's a bright pink bottle. I don't know if it's good, because I've never really known any different, but Superdrugs own brand [comes in the triangular shapes, black with pink writing] is quite good aswell. Like I said, it really depends on how well your hair takes it. Try out different ones.
Straightening hair...?
use ghd straightners there the best you can get your hair will still be straight when you wake up in the morning the tresseme heat protection is also good
Straightening hair...?
OK wash hair in straighten shampoo
so pre straighten hair then once or twice a week or it will damages hair
go over it till straight
heat pro Andrew collange or Tressa or dhd stuff
Straightening hair...?
try combing it as you straighten, that helps it stay straight for longer.
Try not to straighten more than 3-4 times a week. I straightened my hair every day and fried it, its taking ages to get back to its original condition.
Dont go over each section more than twice or you will damage the hair.
I have found andrew collinge heat defence spray is very good.
Straightening hair...?
1. if your hair never stays straight for long, try buying GHD's (its in the name - good hair day!). ive just bought them. at first i didnt know if i should or not coz they were 鎷?20! but trust me, im glad i did. my hair is very very curly and i only need to straighten it once. and it even stays straight over night and in windy conditions!
2. well with GHD's only around 2-3, but with the ones you have got at the mo, maybe everyday :S but use heat protection spray.
3. well with GHD's i only really need to do it around 4 times, but ut doesnt really matter.
4. i use TREsemme heat protection. its very good and smells nice to!
I HOPE I HELPED!
Straightening hair...?
For straightening hair at home, you can use a hair iron and a straightening shampoo will also help. If you wish to straighten for a longer time, you can undergo Japanese hair straightening. I found this website useful - http://hcr.in/straighten.html
