Straightening hair that last more then a day?

I heard somewhere that you can straighten your hair and even if u wash it it will be straight for more then a day.

1. Is this really possible?

2. How long will it last?

3. Is it really expenisve?

4. Would my local hair salon have this?

It takes hours and is about $300 from a reputable salon.

Despite the process it's supposed to actually repair your hair.

edit: fyi a relaxer is for more ethnic hair and will ruin hair it's not meant for. i felt the need to mention that. you still have to take time to do your hair even if you get this done.

yes it is possible, it will last for a month, its a perm and it depends how long ur hair is but for short hair its around $50 +tax and most likely the local hair salon will have this!!!!!!

but when u get it done ur hair looks sooooo nice its amazing no extra work in the morning!!!!?????

high end places have and ghetto hair parlours have it for way cheaper

yes! you can straighten your hair and have it last for more then one day. Chi has a great straightening system that can be done professionally. It is not cheap to have this done but the results are wonderful. You can go to you local Jcpenneys salon and they offer this service.

Yeah, you could get a straight perm. I got one a two summers ago for about $150. It's good, but when your hair grows out, some of your hair is straight, and some is wavy. It kinda sucks. I don't recommend it unless you're gonna be willing to have it touched up about every two months, or depending on how fast your hair grows.

Yes, it's called chemical straitening, don't be scared by the name it's harmless. it will last a couple months and is about the same price as a perm. Most salons can do it and if yours doesn't I'm sure your hair dresser will know of somewhere that does this (: good luck.

This process is called a chemical relaxer people with overly curly hair use it. yes it is possible and when you wash your hair it is straight. It usually last well its like when you use color you have to do your retouch to get the new growth colored in well its the same thing but in this case you wait about 3 months just so you get an idea. Yes its expensive depending on how long your hair is but i recommend you go to a professional hair stylist and i am sure it will start about 100 dollars and yes you should be able to find it at your local salon.
