How will brightly colored hair do after use with a straightening iron?

Your hair will be much better if you stop torturing it with crazy chemicals and burning devices. Seriously. Use a gentle shampoo, good conditioner, a seamless wide-tooth comb and put a satin pillowcase on your pillow. This will keep the hairs from grabbing on to the cotton. If you treat your hair kindly, it will look TONS better.

It shouldn't make any color difference. Only chemicals will change the color.

should be OK, I use both, try a heat protecting product in your hair before straightening to protect the color.
